What are UV Lenses?
UV lenses refer to lenses that are UV-reactive. This means that they have a color-shifting pigment, which reacts only to ultraviolet light, also known as blacklight. Under this blacklight, your UV lenses will immediately glow like neon signs!
How do UV Lenses Work?
These lenses are bright under regular light, with fun, bold neon colors. Under a blacklight, however, they turn into fluorescent dreams, glowing brightly in the ultraviolet light. They can add a fun accent to any neon look, and are perfect for specific events like a blacklight party.
PLEASE NOTE- UV lenses are not the same as glow-in-the-dark lenses. While UV lenses glow neon under blacklight, they will not light up in the darkness. If you are looking for lenses to wear in the dark, maybe browse some of our other designs. But if you have a specific photoshoot or event in mind, and you know that it involves UV light, then these lenses are perfect for you!
And don’t forget- these UV lenses are just as pigmented as our other styles. Their novelty lies in their UV reactivity, but they can also be worn under regular light as bright and colorful cosplay lenses.
How Do I Take Care of My UV Lenses?
You can look after your UV lenses in the same way you care for any lenses.
DO handle your lenses carefully, with clean hands.
DO clean your lenses before use with eye-care solution.
DON’T wear your lenses for any longer than 8 hours at a time
DON’T wear your lenses past their expiration date
