Seeking a pair of lenses that are suitable for fair skin? Want some contacts to complement your dark skin tone? We've got dozens of different shades of purple lenses in a variety of styles, so you can guarantee to source a pair of decadently different contacts in the blink of an eye. If you've got deep brown eyes, you know that it can sometimes be a struggle to completely conceal your natural eye colour. Even if a product looks like it'll cover your irises when it's in the packet, when inserted, the resulting effect can leave a lot to be desired. Well, worry no more! Unlike inferior products, our lenses bear incredibly vivid, bold colour pigments making them a great choice for dark eyes! Perfect for anyone seeking a complete transformation, our purple lenses are sure to get you noticed for all the right reasons.

Purple Lenses: What You Need To Know

Whether you're an experienced lens wearer or a complete novice, you must book an appointment with an optician, optometrist or health care provider prior to buying a pair of our purple lenses. This is an important step, as it means the health of your eyes can be assessed and allows your eye doctor to ascertain whether you suffer from any eye conditions (E.g. keratitis, uveitis) that may prohibit you from wearing fashion lenses. You will also be shown how to properly remove, insert and care for your lenses, so that you are fully aware of the procedures involved.

To keep your lenses in tip-top condition, here's our list of do's and don'ts for lens care maintenance:

  • ALWAYS place the lenses into a clean case that's filled with contact lens solution as soon as you're removed them. Failure to do so could cause your lenses to dry out and become damaged
  • NEVER re-use your lens solution! Failure to use fresh, clean solution could lead to irritation, degradation of the lenses and possible eye infections.
  • ALWAYS use contact lens solution that's recommended for use with coloured contact lenses. If you have previously suffered from dry, sensitive or itchy eyes when using lens solution, please consult your optician for advice on a suitable product to use.
  • NEVER rinse your contact lenses with tap water! Tap water can contain impurities and micro-organisms (Even if it's filtered) that can lead to the rapid growth of bacteria and harmful pathogens on the surface of your lenses. Not the kind of thing you want to transfer into your eye...Plus, contact lens solution is pH balanced to match the acidity of your tears, whereas water isn't. This can cause a troublesome, sticky insertion process that could damage your lenses and irritate your eyes. Water may be great for keeping you hydrated and clean, but where contact lenses are concerned, it's totally not worth the risk!
  • ALWAYS consult your optician, optometrist or health care provider should you experience any changes to your vision, irritation, redness, or excessive dryness/watering of the eye.
  • NEVER wear your lenses whilst bathing, showering or swimming.

If you think you need to compromise comfort for style, then think again! All of our lenses are produced by big names such as Eyefusion (Formerly known as EDIT) and are manufactured using materials that are of the highest possible quality. This ensures that your lenses will be soft, comfortable and easy to wear. In addition, each pair of lenses we sell have been approved by the FDA, meaning you can purchase confidently, knowing you're buying a safe and genuine item.
