Natural Coloured Contact Lenses Review with Sajalyn

We recently sent some of our products to accomplished Cosplayer and blogger Sajalyn a.k.a. Svenja Schwan. From Germany, Svenja has an impressive portfolio of character Cosplays including DC Comics’ Harley Quinn, My Hero Academia’s Himiko Toga and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. We were delighted that she agreed to show off our natural coloured contacts and couldn’t wait to share her pictures on our blog.

Let us introduce to you her coloured contact lenses review from her blog and view her detailed close-ups.

Coloured Contact Lens Review by Sajalyn Cosplay

We’re glad to start sharing our natural coloured contact lenses with those that are normally used to the costume contacts available in our store. Our natural lenses can look visually different depending on the eye colour of the wearer, so it’s great to have some close-up images of the coloured contact lenses in action. As you’ll see, Svenja has a light blue natural eye colour.

We hope that Svenja can find a use for these contacts in her everyday looks and in many Cosplays to come! Read her thoughts on our lenses below:

Purple Violet Mystic Contact Lenses:

The first thing I noticed as I put in the contact lenses is the bright color….very comfortable to wear, I didn't even notice them.”

Being one of our most popular styles and Sajalyn’s fondness of flamboyant Cosplay, we wanted to offer her something natural but with colour intensity to really make her eyes stand out. The Two Tone Mystic Violet contact lenses may not be considered the most realistic of our styles, but they offer radiant colour pigmentation and a tone design which boldly enhances natural eye colours.

As well as our incredible designs, we pride ourselves on our comfortable and safe products. We only stock soft contact lenses which are FDA Approved and CE marked. Be sure to check each product description and choose contact lenses that are tailored to your prescription requirements.

Brown One Tone Coloured Contact Lenses

They create a natural effect of brown eyes, even so you can't avoid that your bright eyes will still shine through a little bit….But all in all I like the effect of natural brown eyes that is given here.

As we’ve spoken about in previous posts on our blog, the one tone brown natural contact lenses should be considered a style that offers less coverage for those with darker eyes; but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider it. We recommend our one tone contact lenses for anyone looking for a slight colour enhancement, rather than an eye colour transformation. For more information on the best coloured contacts for dark eyes, see a breakdown of our one, two and tri tone styles here.

Green Two Tone Coloured Contact Lenses

Looking at the pictures you can see that they create a natural green, even so the dark border is a little bit too dark for an overall natural look. But using it for cosplay several characters pop up my mind.

Within our range of natural coloured contact lenses, one of our most popular lenses for a Coloured Contacts review are our Green Two Tone styles. This style incorporates the colour enhancing detailing of the One Tone styles, with a darkened limbal ring in order to increase definition and make the eyes appear larger.

Due to the vibrant emerald green colour pigment that is featured in these contacts, they’re easily interchangeable as your everyday natural or Cosplay contact lenses. Within the photos provided by Svenja below, these contact lenses show beautifully on bright blue eyes.  If you have dark eyes don’t worry; we have plenty of recommendations for styles in our Green Contact Lenses for Dark Eyes blog!

So there’s a quick round up of Sajalyn’s review of our contact lenses. If you haven’t already; we implore you to see it for yourself and gain some Cosplay inspiration from her blog here. Don’t forget to head over to the Coloured Contact’s Gallery to find more ways to wear your contact lenses!
