Maquillaje de Willy Wonka y Oompa Loompa Para Disfraces de Cosplay

Our amazing affiliates have been inspired by Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal in the 2023 film, ‘Wonka’ which explores the story of how Willy Wonka created his chocolate factory. They have created amazing Willy Wonka makeup, even contouring their faces to look like Timothée Chalamet. 

@nickiteal has transformed herself into Willy Wonka and an Oompa Loompa. Her Oompa Loompa costume is based on Hugh Grant’s character, Lofty from the ‘Wonka’ film. In this funny sketch, she acts out a scene between Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompa, playing both parts herself. 

In her amazingly accurate Willy Wonka cosplay, @nickiteal contours her face and adds shading and stubble to completely transform into Timothée Chalamet. She is unrecognisable as Wonka’s face emerges the more makeup she adds. Paired with the Willy Wonka costume. wig and chocolate Wonka Bar prop, the Wonka transformation is complete. Her Wonka costume is partially body paint. For the cravat, waistcoat and shirt, she uses body paint to accurately create the colours and details of the costume as seen in the film. @nickiteal completes her cosplay with green coloured contact lenses to match Timothée Chalamet’s natural eye colour.

A testament to the incredible makeup skills of @nickiteal, she next transforms herself into Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa. Her makeup skills allow her to copy the shape and lines of Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa. She paints her skin orange and includes shading and contouring to give a realistic finish. She adds a green wig, striped shirt, and blazer jacket. To make sure her look is complete her hands and chest are also painted orange. In this makeup look, to create Hugh Grant’s famous baby blue eyes, @nickiteal is wearing the Elven Blue Coloured Contact Lenses. 

@elisabethmariesc adds a fun twist to her female Willy Wonka cosplay. She completes her Wonka makeup with a chocolate splat across her eyes. This is reflected in the White Corpse Coloured Contact Lenses which have black ink splats around the pupil on a white iris. For this fun idea, she paints on the shirt, cravat, waistcoat, and jacket using body paint, adds the famous Willy Wonka top hat, and adds SFX makeup to her face for the chocolate drips.  

Willy Wonka is a popular character for children to dress as for occasions such as World Book Day but dressing in an adult Willy Wonka cosplay costume is also perfect for fancy dress parties. With a variety of live-action actors and book illustrations to take inspiration from, you can create your own DIY Willy Wonka costume or buy one. If you use the description in the book, Willy Wonka has a goatee, plum velvet tailcoat, green trousers, and black top hat. Roald Dahl says he has a twinkle in his eye but does not mention Wonka’s eye colour so you can get creative. Wear costume or natural coloured contact lenses to create a twinkling eye colour to go with your Willy Wonka makeup. In fact, Johnny Depp is reported to have worn lilac coloured contact lenses for his Willy Wonka role in the Tim Burton film adaptation.
