Applying fake blood is super easy as there can be no right or wrong answers to create a splatter or smear - in most cases, the wilder the better. However, there are some considerations to think about when applying your fake blood:

1. Planning for Perfection: some kind of a plan can help when it comes to your fake blood. After all, once applied it can take a bit of effort to remove and clean off entirely. Apply in small amounts and consider using a brush or sponge to allow for more precise application around an accessory, SFX wound, or part of a full makeup look.
2. Be Careful of Spillage: you do not want fake blood on your carpet, upholstery, or even on your fancy dress costume.
