The Genie from Aladdin was voiced by the legendary Robin Williams whose comedic timing and precise diction created an absolutely iconic unforgettable character. That’s quite an act to follow but Holly Murray certainly does justice to the role in this fun reel of one of the Genie’s most memorable scenes. Holly’s Shrek transformation is so detailed that it is hard to tell that Holly is underneath the makeup! This amazing character transformation required a pair of brown colored contacts to match the animated ogre.

Holly is chewing, chewing all day long as Violet Beauregard from the 2005 movie adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Holly paints Violet as she starts to turn into a blueberry, taking the transformation one step further by giving the character purple eyes. This fun makeup would be perfect for a fancy dress party.
Character: Cruella De Vil

Holly created a Disney Villains makeup series including the notorious Disney baddie, Cruella De Vil. To create her eyes from any of the film adaptations, crazy contact lenses are a must. In the driving scene from the original Disney animation, Cruella’s eyes turn red with rage as she searches for the Dalmatian puppies. The red colored contacts are a perfect contrast to the dramatic lime green eye makeup and angular eyebrows.

Holly seems to love cosplaying as the Ghost with the Most! In this version of Beetlejuice, she has chosen natural colored contacts to pair with her makeup and wig. This cult classic movie character is a popular choice throughout the year for fancy dress parties as well as Halloween events.

Another Beetlejuice favourite; Miss Argentina is the secret favourite character of many fans of this movie. She is the perfect character to cosplay and offers a fun opportunity to practice your makeup skills. This video of Anna from Frozen isn’t all it seems. With a surprise thrown in by Holly of what might have happened if Anna’s story had taken a different turn, we are glad that this isn’t the ending of the movie.
