R2-D2 - A cosplay you wouldn’t expect!
R2-D2 may not be the obvious choice when it comes to Star Wars cosplays, but we love how creative our affiliates have been with this character cosplay.
Talented affiliate @ShannonKibbleMUA has taken on the optical illusion makeup trend with this R2-D2 cosplay. Creating the illusion of the droid underneath her skin in body paint gives the perfect makeup fantasy for a Star Wars character! Paired with our Twilight Volturi Red Contact Lenses to mimic R2-D2’s red light, this character makeup look is complete!
@makeupbycole has also opted for the illusion makeup trend for her R2-D2 look. With blue and white body paint to show the robot’s outer design and our Red Mini Sclera Contact Lenses, Cole’s R2-D2 cosplay transformation is the perfect way to celebrate Star Wars Day.
Darth Maul - Revenge of the Sixth
It wouldn’t be a Star Wars celebration without a Darth Maul cosplay! Star Wars is sometimes celebrated on May the Sixth due to the similarities to the villainous Sith. The Sith are an ancient order that embraces their dark side and uses the Force to gain power.
Darth Maul, who first appeared in the hexology in Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, has become a fan-favorite villain from the franchise. Paying homage to this Star Wars character, @SallyQuinnCreations has used red and black body paint, prosthetic horns and red contact lenses to achieve her cosplay. Whilst Darth Maul typically has red and yellow eyes, our Red Mini Sclera Contact Lenses are a great choice for this cosplay, as they provide more coverage of the sclera for a menacing look. Our Darth Maul Contact Lenses are also a good choice for this Star Wars costume.

Ahsoka Tano - A fan favorite cosplay
Ahsoka Tano is another fan favorite that we see cosplayed often. Ahsoka is a Star Wars species called Togruta. Togruta are characterised by their somewhat alien-like appearances; they tend to have colorful skin tones, montrals, head tails and white facial markings. Due to this, Togrutas are a fun Star Wars species to cosplay, as it allows you to truly get creative!
Our affiliate @Carlaa.Cosplay has created this amazing Ahsoka Tano cosplay using face paint, an orange bodysuit, blue contact lenses and an Ahsoka outfit fashioned by herself. The varying skin tones and facial features of the Togruta mean that you can have fun with body paint and prosthetics to create your own Star Wars character.
Carla has used our Blue Angelic Colored Contacts for her Ahsoka character cosplay. Opt for our costume blue contact lenses for piercing blue eyes or go natural with our high-coverage blue natural lenses for a more subtle appearance. If you’re creating your own Togruta character look, why not opt for a different eye color such as black, green, orange or yellow? Check out our costume contacts range to find the perfect style.
Another of our talented affiliates to cosplay as Ahsoka Tano is @riannashah.mua_. Rianna has opted for our Blue Wild Blizzard Contact Lenses, which offer a middle-ground between costume and natural styles for a unique eye color. Rianna has opted for body paint to create her skin tone, outfit and makeup. She’s also brought Grogu along for the ride!

Grogu - A super-cute cosplay
Another character that you might not have thought to cosplay is Grogu! Grogu is often referred to as ‘Baby Yoda’ due to his striking resemblance to Yoda. This creature is a super cute option if you’re struggling for ideas to cosplay.
@Carlaa.Cosplay has created this homage to the green alien using large green fake ears, a green wig, a brown cloak and makeup. Carla has chosen green eyeshadow to cover her eyes and eyebrows and kept the rest of her features fairly neutral. This really makes her Grogu cosplay characteristics shine, and with the help of our brown colored contact lenses, Carla has been able to mimic the large eyes of this creature. Carla has chosen the Air Optix Brown Lenses for this cosplay, but here are some more choices for Star Wars Contact Lenses:
Ventress - A warrior cosplay
@SallyQuinnCreations has cosplayed as Asajj Ventress for one of her May the 4th looks. This character has quite the backstory in the Star Wars universe and makes for a fun character to cosplay. Will you choose to cosplay her as a Sith Acolyte or as a bounty hunter? There are lots of options to choose from when it comes to a Ventress cosplay. Whilst Ventress is usually depicted with blue eyes, Sally has opted for our White Contact Lenses for this cosplay. Check out some of our top choices for a Star Wars Ventress cosplay:
